Caravans for Sale Near Moreton Bay
Moreton Bay gives you plenty of ways to get away without turning every holiday into an expedition. Pick where the caravan will stay, then choose its layout and equipment. A Bribie park booking and a beach drive are different trips. The van does not need to follow you everywhere.

From Redcliffe to our Moreton Bay yard
We are already in Moreton Bay, with our one showroom at Burpengary. From the road beside 290 Eastern Service Rd to Redcliffe Parade opposite the jetty, the mapped drive is about 18km and 25 minutes. It uses Anzac Avenue and Deception Bay Road, with local connections to Eastern Service Road.
Use that waterfront reference to get your bearings, then check directions from your own address. It is an ordinary car estimate, not a towing time, with no traffic or parking allowance. If you are bringing a trailer, give yourself room in the day rather than chasing the clock.
Put a Bribie stay on the shortlist
Bongaree Caravan Park is on the Pumicestone Passage side of Bribie Island and offers caravan accommodation. The council lists showers, toilets and a camp kitchen. It is an established park option to look into if your holiday is about settling in and exploring from a base.
Visit Moreton Bay lists caravan parks and national park camping, so you can compare different styles of stay. Start with the facilities you want and the site you intend to book. Then work out what the caravan needs to provide, instead of collecting extras because they sound impressive.
Send the park your complete setup details when checking site fit. That means the caravan, tow vehicle and the space you want for an awning. A model name alone does not tell the person taking your booking how much room you need.
Heads up: Bribie Island Recreation Area driving needs a vehicle access permit before entry, separate from a park booking. Bongaree prohibits generators and open fires. Build your plans around those rules and check current alerts, rather than assuming a beach outing means towing the caravan onto sand.
Match the van type to your Moreton Bay holidays
If the caravan stays in an established park while you head out for the day, compare touring layouts for comfort and storage. An off road label is not a requirement for a beach holiday when the van never goes on the beach. Buy for its job, not the sticker.
For a family, bunk layouts are worth checking with everybody inside. For two people, compare bed access and seating before adding length. If permitted unsealed routes are part of the towing plan, look at semi off road and off road types against the actual road, van specifications and vehicle limits.
Bring your appliance list and tell us roughly how often you move camp. Ask what that van's electrical setup can support. Battery and solar labels do not promise endless power.
Even a good system needs a realistic job to do.
Check the sandy towel routine
Think about coming back from the coast with towels, footwear and outdoor chairs. Where will they go? Open the storage you would use and check that you can reach it without unpacking half the living area.
That is a more useful test than admiring an empty cupboard.
Try bathroom access with the beds arranged for the night. If someone wants an early night, can the others still use the kitchen and seating? A layout that looks roomy at lunchtime can tell a different story once everyone has claimed their sleeping space.
Ask to see the awning and outside storage, then work through the steps you would take on arrival. You are buying somewhere to live. It needs to work with people and gear inside, not just look good with every door shut.
Start close to home, with the right questions
Our one showroom is in Burpengary, within Moreton Bay. We sell Australian made caravans and have our own service centre here. You can request a video or FaceTime walkaround before a visit, with the cupboards, beds and daily routines you want to see on your question list.
Bring your vehicle paperwork. Every van comes with its weighbridge docket, so you know its real weight, not a brochure guess. Use a public weighbridge for actual loaded measurements when needed, and seek suitable advice on the results.
Keep towing compatibility separate from the layout you happen to like best.
Finetic can discuss finance with personalised terms and approval subject to lending criteria. Australia wide delivery is available by quote. All handovers take place at our Burpengary yard, with a walkthrough of the whole van before you tow away.
Confirm delivery arrangements and transport scope before committing.
Check the operator information and park alerts again before booking your first stay. Then ask yourself: can we pack it, move around it and enjoy staying in it? That is a useful shortlist.
Brochure adjectives can wait.
