A short highway visit from Caboolture

From Caboolture railway station, the mapped highway trip to 290 Eastern Service Rd, Burpengary, is about 11km and 15 minutes in a car, before traffic and delays. It connects Matthew Terrace and King Street with the Bruce Highway M1, then Uhlmann Road, Buckley Road and Eastern Service Road.

Check directions from home rather than treating the station as everybody's starting point. Local roads may suit you better. If one van has caught your eye, give us a call to check it is available before heading over. A photo is handy, but it cannot tell you whether the van is still here.

Start with the weekend you actually take

Picture a normal Friday afternoon departure from Caboolture. Who is coming, what is already in the car and where are you planning to stay? That tells you more about the right van than choosing the biggest floor plan and hoping everything else falls into place.

A couples tourer is worth comparing for two people heading between established caravan parks. Family bunk layouts deserve a look when the kids come along. Semi off road and off road types belong in the conversation when the van itself will leave the bitumen, with the actual route and vehicle checked first.

Bring a packing list, not just a wish list. Chairs, bedding, cooking gear and the outdoor kit need somewhere to live. Open the storage and picture packing it yourself.

A big cupboard earns its keep when you can reach the thing you use every day.

Make Caboolture stops part of the trip

Caboolture Historical Village gives you restored buildings and historical displays to explore on foot. Its visitor information lists caravan parking. That makes it a stop to investigate while touring, with your overnight accommodation booked somewhere else.

The village lists a dairy, model railway, maritime museum, school and hospital among its attractions. You can build a day around what interests you rather than trying to squeeze everything in. Ask about current entry and parking arrangements for your full car and caravan combination before arriving.

Visit Moreton Bay also points to Centenary Lakes and the Abbey Museum. Keep them on the sightseeing list and check each venue's parking directly. A day out without towing the van to every stop can make the whole holiday simpler.

Heads up: visitor parking at the Historical Village is not a camping booking. Sort your overnight site separately, and check whether any attraction can fit your rig. A caravan parking sign is useful information, not an invitation to put the kettle on and stay the night.

Try the layout with everyone on board

Let the family test a few ordinary jobs inside the van. Can someone make lunch while another person gets to the bathroom? Can the kids reach their clothes with the beds ready?

It is much easier to spot an awkward layout here than halfway through the school holidays.

Sit where you would eat and get out of bed from your usual side. Reach into the cupboards you will use most. Useful space beats a long feature list.

Try it as if it were a wet afternoon, not a tidy photo.

During a video request, ask for the cupboards to be opened and the bed arrangement shown. Tell the team which questions matter before the camera starts moving. Save anything you need to feel or reach yourself for an inspection at our only showroom, in Burpengary.

Get the towing and purchase questions straight

Start with the vehicle paperwork and details of towing accessories. Include passengers, luggage and camping equipment in the conversation. Every van comes with its weighbridge docket, so you know its real weight, not a brochure guess.

Use a public weighbridge when you need actual loaded weights, and get appropriate advice about the results. A floor plan cannot tell you whether your packed combination fits its limits. Getting that sorted early leaves you free to compare the vans that genuinely belong on your shortlist.

Our own service centre is at Burpengary. Ask about routine servicing and warranty enquiries before buying. You can also discuss finance through Finetic, with personalised terms and approval subject to lending criteria, and request an Australia wide delivery quote.

Every handover happens at our Burpengary yard, where we walk you through the whole van before you tow away. Confirm transport details in writing.

Write down the van, agreed inclusions, questions still open and what happens next. It beats trying to remember it all after a good look around. Keen on one layout?

Give us a call and check that van is here before heading over.

    Caboolture Caravan Buyer FAQs

The village lists caravan parking for visitors, not a campsite. Book your overnight stay separately and ask about current parking conditions before taking the rig in.

Our only showroom is in Burpengary. Request a video or FaceTime walkaround first if you want to narrow the layouts before coming over, and confirm collection arrangements with the team.

Try making lunch, getting to the bathroom and reaching the beds with everyone inside. Bring your packing list too. Empty cupboards look good; knowing where the everyday gear goes is more useful.

Yes, ask about Finetic while you build your shortlist. Get personalised terms, with approval subject to lending criteria, rather than treating an early chat as a guaranteed finance offer.

Yes, ask for a Caboolture delivery quote for the van you have chosen. You can also discuss collecting at Burpengary; confirm the transport details rather than assuming delivery to the door.
